MidYear: Windows
- The lines of this image draw the viewer’s eye straight to the lightbulb while also leading with the lines of the window frame in the background. The depth of this image was also important to capture because I still wanted to keep a lot of detail from the tree outside while also keeping detail within the subject (lightbulb). Compositionally, this image does not follow the rule of thirds, but I think that’s what makes it more engaging.
- This photo was taken early in the morning, I had to use flash and keep the shutter speed relatively fast. It was important to keep the image as contrasty as possible because that is one of the main elements overall.
- This image is expressing the creation of ideas, the lightbulb represents a creative idea and the window in the background represents the opportunity to create and share ideas. The blue sky outside the window brings a feeling of peace and liberty.
